With over 20 years of experience welcoming children into my home daycare, I have created a nurturing, calm environment where children feel safe, valued and excited to learn. Guided by gentle daily rhythms and collaborative decision-making, our days unfold with purpose and joy.
We make the most of everything Victoria has to offer. From beach explorations and hikes up Mount Tolmie to local playground adventures, bird watching and lessons on native plant life.
Each day brings something new, filled with meaningful, everyday learning opportunities that spark curiosity, build confidence and encourage a deep connection to the world around us.
About Marco’s Daycare
With a maximum of just four children, my small daycare setting allows for meaningful connection and individualized care. Here, every child is known, heard and valued. Here, everyone’s voice matters.
Anchored by natural rhythms like play time, lunch time and rest time, our days feel both predictable and flexible. This balance creates a sense of security while keeping each day fresh, engaging, and full of discovery.
We head out each day to explore our community. Whether we’re visiting Finnerty Gardens, playing at Horner park or taking a simple walk to the bakery, these everyday adventures nurture independence, confidence and curiosity.
A home daycare setting offers advantages that larger centres simply cannot provide. Together we build consistency, closeness and the comfort of a true home environment.
What I offer
My daycare program runs Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This consistent three day schedule creates a gentle rhythm to the week, offering children structure, predictability and a strong sense of routine, while still allowing for meaningful time at home with family.
This part-time model works beautifully for families seeking a nurturing, steady environment that supports social development, independence and confidence, while maintaining a healthy balance between daycare and home life.
